You can make this recipe on the GT Xpress with pita pockets or just regular pita bread:
Brush a little bit of olive oil on the outside of the pita bread so it browns up and gets nice and crispy. This also keeps it from sticking to the GT Xpress’s bowl. Assuming you’re using a pita pocket, stuff the ingredients inside. Here is what I use - Cheese, pepperoni slices, turkey, tomatoes, mushrooms and green peppers. (more…)

I bought a used GT Xpress a few years back from a flea market stall and loved it. After getting bored with the limited options on my George Foreman (Yea, hamburgers are great, but you can only eat so many each week!) it was a welcome variety to my college-dorm-room diet. Not only could I have pizza, beer and burgers, but I opened up the door to omelets, muffins, cornbread, soups, and all sorts of dishes that I could prepare right there in my room with no kitchen at all.
