Introducing The GT Xpress Recipes Blog!
I bought a used GT Xpress a few years back from a flea market stall and loved it. After getting bored with the limited options on my George Foreman (Yea, hamburgers are great, but you can only eat so many each week!) it was a welcome variety to my college-dorm-room diet. Not only could I have pizza, beer and burgers, but I opened up the door to omelets, muffins, cornbread, soups, and all sorts of dishes that I could prepare right there in my room with no kitchen at all.
Later I decided to buy my friend one for his birthday so he’d stop using mine, and I found out that ordering one from the website got me a free one to go with it. So I gave the second one to my mom. She then bought one and got one free - and gave them out to a few people for Christmas and so it goes… eventually we had a pretty good email group going where we would all swap recipes that could be made on our GT Xpresses. Now I’m taking some web design classes and getting into blogging so I thought HEY - a site dedicated to GT Xpress Recipes wouldn’t be such a bad idea!
And so there you have it. I hope up like the site and check back often. I’ll be adding posts here and there, probably a few times each week if I have the time. Also, I invite you to use the comment form to send your own recipes so I can post them for all to share.
Also, I might try making a few cooking videos like they have on late-night television but funnier. Who knows, I might even have a competition for the wackiest recipe idea or something like that. Anyway…
Tootalooo!
